"Art truly brings me joy and it is my mission to share that joy with the world."
Rebekah McLain is an award-winning, self-taught western artist known for her detailed pencil
drawings of horses and wildlife. Her work reflects a lifelong love of the West - one that began
with fields of horses just across the road and afternoons spent watching Roy Rogers, John
Wayne, and many other cowboys of the silver screen. Those early memories, paired with the
animals and western lifestyle she’s surrounded by today, continue to spark her inspiration.
From a young age, drawing became the place where Rebekah could bring her daydreams to
life. What started as simple sketches has grown into a body of work that captures quiet
moments, honest emotion, and the connection she feels to the subjects she portrays. Each
piece is created with intention, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the beauty often
hidden in the everyday.
Rebekah’s artwork has found homes in private collections across the U.S. and internationally.
Working from her studio in Wyoming, she creates while raising her five children and often pulls
inspiration from their family adventures, outdoor experiences, and the western way of life they
share.
She has exhibited in shows throughout the U.S. and continues to challenge herself artistically
while staying rooted in the joy that first drew her to art. “Art brings me joy,” she says. “My hope
is to share a bit of that joy with others through every piece I create.”
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” -Abraham Lincoln

"I am Rebekah McLain"

A piece that just hits close to home featuring none other than my heart horse "Lena", who is now a senior. I'm so grateful to know that she will get to live out her days with us after having reacquiring her early 2025.

"Cow Horse" 2023 11x14" Graphite Drawing is the piece that was my initial debut in 2023. Personal and customer favorite time and time again.
